Q. I own my home with my boyfriend. It’s 50/50. Do we both apply for ANCHOR payment? We are senior citizens.

A. You will both need to apply.

The Treasury Department website explains that unmarried co-owners must file separate PAS-1 applications.

You’d note that you’re single, and you’d state the percentage of the home that you own. Make sure that your boyfriend does the same on his application.

Even though you own the home together, you would only add your income to the application.
