A. We’ve received a lot of questions lately about what income should be included on the PAS-1, which is the combined application for ANCHOR, the Senior Freeze and Stay NJ property tax benefits.
We took your question to Bernie Kiely, a certified financial planner and certified public accountant with Kiely Capital Management in Morristown.
“You insert your total income from your NJ-1040 income tax return on Line 18 of the PAS-1 application,” he said. “PAS-1 requires you to include income that is not subject to income tax. This income is included on lines 18b to 18e.”
Good luck completing the application.
