Q. Where can I find out how much I will get under Stay NJ?

A. You should have received a notice from the state detailing how much you’d get under ANCHOR, Senior Freeze and Stay NJ last fall.

If you didn’t receive one, you can try NJ.com’s Stay NJ calculator.

The state will offer a status check tool — similar to the one it uses for ANCHOR — for your Stay NJ payment. It’s not yet up and working, though.

When it is, you can find it at nj.gov/treasury/taxation/staynj.

“Stay NJ benefits will begin to be issued in mid-February,” state Treasury Department spokeswoman Danielle Currie told us. “Payments will be approved and distributed on a rolling basis.”
