U. S. Financial Services, LLC, a financial and estate planning firm in Fairfield, N.J. sponsored its inaugural Charity Golf Outing on June 18th at the Upper Montclair Country Club.

There are a plethora of golf outings each year, however, what makes this one unique was that 11 clients were asked to put together a foursome and 100% of their “entry fee” would go to their declared charity. U. S. Financial Services would “foot the bill” for golf, dinner, etc.

In addition, U. S. Financial Services matched the donation of the winning team. If that were not enough, the company also gave 50% of the contributions raised to any team that beat them. Eight teams beat the U. S. Financial Services team, so a lot of checks were written that day. Not to worry, it was for a great cause. As a matter of fact, several great causes. The charities represented that day were:

The Brady Center to Prevent Gun Violence
Alan T. Brown Foundation for Paralysis
The Children’s Brain Tumor Foundation
Christ the King School
Employment Horizons
Eva’s Village
Gift of Life Foundation
Heckman Foundation for Kidney Research
Saint Joseph’s Hospital Foundation – (Paterson, NJ)
Staten Island University Hospital Foundation – Pediatric Oncology
Wounded Warrior Project
Tomorrow’s Children’s Fund

U. S. Financial Services looks forward to making this an annual event and raising a lot more money for charity!
