Tech help is something we all need sometimes, and most web sites offer online chats, email support and the chance to call the company with questions.

Scammers know that desperate users will sometimes simply do an online search for help, and they take advantage, misrepresenting who they are. They’ll often impersonate a legit company in an attempt to snatch your money and your private information.
