09 Aug When will I get my ANCHOR payment?
Photo: pixabay.comQ. I checked my PAS-1 application with the state’s tool and it says they received the PAS-1 application in May and it says it’s still being reviewed. Are the payments expected to be sent out in August?

A. We’re glad your application was received.
You didn’t say specifically which benefit you’re asking about, but we’re thinking you mean ANCHOR.
If you completed the PAS-1, that means you’re either a senior or someone who receives disability benefits.
Nonseniors would complete the ANC-1, which is not yet available.
First, the state is sending out letters to nonseniors for whom the state is submitting applications automatically.
We are expecting those letters to go out this week or very soon after.
Nonseniors who do not receive a letter will have to complete the ANC-1 application.
The state will be sending out the payments starting on Sept. 15, “usually within 90 days of filing,” it said.
