With a legal career devoted exclusively to family and matrimonial law, Ms. Gonzalez brings extensive litigation experience, a strong judicial background, and a thoughtful, client-centered approach to helping individuals and families navigate some of life’s most challenging transitions.

Following law school, Ms. Gonzalez clerked for the Honorable Lisa P. Thornton, A.J.S.C. (then Presiding Judge of the Family Part) in the Monmouth Vicinage before practicing at a prestigious boutique family law firm. During law school, she interned for the Honorable Alberto Rivas, J.S.C., in the Family Part of the Middlesex Vicinage and represented clients through the Family Law Clinic at Seton Hall University School of Law’s Center for Social Justice. She also completed judicial internships with the Honorable Julio M. Fuentes of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit, the Honorable Michael A. Shipp, U.S.D.J., and the Honorable Susan D. Wigenton, U.S.D.J., of the United States District Court for the District of New Jersey. A qualified family law mediator, Ms. Gonzalez has handled complex matrimonial matters from inception through resolution and was a contributing author to the Yudes Family Law Citator, an annual ICLE publication relied upon by family law practitioners throughout New Jersey.
