Q. I understand Gov. Sherrill has established a website where we can see how our taxes are spent. Can you tell me the site?

A. The site is called the New Jersey Report Card.

The Sherrill administration said it’s “focused on making government more transparent and accountable. It’s your government—it should work for you.”

“The Report Card shines a light on the State’s spending and revenues through an interactive budget tool and includes detailed information on the impact of State-funded programs,” it says.

The current budget is being negotiated by the Legislature, but Sherrill’s proposal for Fiscal Year 2027, which starts July 1, 2026, has more than $60 billion in spending.

The proposal is a 1.6% increase over last year’s approved budget.
