One homeowner was ready to have his concrete driveway replaced with a stone patio. He signed a contract and made several payments to a contractor. The homeowner’s driveway was then removed, damaging a fence and a drainage pipe. Then the job came to a standstill, the driveway area floods when it rains and the homeowner is out thousands of dollars.
