A fugitive Newark contractor who was missing in action after taking $30,000 from a homeowner but never doing work on her house has been arrested. The charge, third degree theft by deception, came after NJ.com’s Bamboozled column spotlighted the plight of the homeowner. Authorities caught the contractor after he was recognized in the Essex County Courthouse.
