We all know living in New Jersey is expensive. But how far can $100 get you compared to other states?

The Tax Foundation, a nonprofit organization that tracks taxation all over the country, conducted a study to determine how much a consumer could buy for $100 in all 50 states. It used data gathered by the U.S. Bureau of Economic Analysis for the analysis.

New Jersey’s results came to an expensive conclusion: when compared to the national average, $100 in New Jersey can only get you $87.34 worth of products.
