If you’ve been scammed, or you were the target of a scam, you might be thinking about reporting it to the authorities. But there’s a catch, according to today’s Bamboozled column on NJ.com: Law enforcement might not be able to help you.
It’s not because your complaint is ignored, but rather it’s because of the way such complaints are processed. What happens to your complaints depends on which agency you file a report with.
