We know living in New Jersey isn’t cheap. But how much does it cost, really?

That depends on where in the state you live, of course.

To help you compare your own home and neighborhood to others in the Garden State, check out Coldwell Banker’s 2014 Home Listing Report.

Some of the findings?

New Jersey ranked fourth most expensive in the country, the report said, with the average price for four-bedroom, two-bath homes for sale at $440,354 based on listing prices.

Here’s a jaw-dropping look at the top five in the state:

1. Chatham Township ($892,489)

2. Bernards Township ($832,878

3. Madison Borough ($777,490)

4. Mountain Lakes Borough (724,490)

5. Princeton Junction/West Windsor Township ($722,912)
