When the Legislature passed the new state budget in July, it eliminated the $250 bonus ANCHOR payment that was given to senior citizens in years past.

So the largest ANCHOR benefit you can get is the $1,500 you received.

The Legislature did keep the $250 bonus for senior renters, making their top benefit $700.
