02 Oct Should United Airlines keep refund promise?

A couple booked an October flight to Puerto Rico two months in advance, before it was known that Hurricane Maria would devastate the island. A week before the flight, the couple realized their trip couldn’t happen because of the storm.  They brokered a deal with a United rep to get a refund, but they were later told a refund wouldn’t happen.
