New Jersey property taxes rise… again

Already high, New Jersey’s property taxes rose nearly 2.2 percent in 2014, according to a report on NJ.com.

According to data from the Department of Community Affairs, the average cost rose from $7,988 in 2013 to $8,161 in 2014, according to data from the Department of Community Affairs.

That means an extra $173 a year for the average property owner report.
